Do they teach the possessive apostrophe S in school anymore?

Is it just me or does anyone else get extremely agitated when someone types a sentence without the 's behind a possessive noun/name?
For example: That phone over there belongs to LaTarsha baby daddy.
Another example: Steven daughter hit a homerun at the softball game.
INB4 : Dear Facebook blah blah blah

This type of talk has been going on for over 20 years so it's nothing new.

Real talk, I'm a lawyer who writes for a living
I'll rework the entire sentence to avoid it

Are you asking the same group of people who have no problem saying "I'm so hype" instead of "I'm so hyped" a grammar question?

I was text my Auntee about this just the other day.

You didn't even put the s behind them in your examples.

Did they teach you that "not" is unneeded? As in "Do they teach the possesive apostrophe S in school anymore?
And maybe we should spell possessive correctly while we are at it.
