Do the mothers in your office have pissing matches about their kids?

We have a mom with an 18 month old and a grandma with one the same age. Every day one shoves phones into our faces and without fail the other one will follow with theirs. Doesn't ask "do you want to see what my kid is up to", just walks over to our desk and expects us to fawn over them. Come on people! Some of us are trying to post on Tigerdroppings!

No, but the dads do the opposite.

"My kid ate dirt yesterday and puked it up"

"Oh yeah?! Well my kid had a blowout in the car and finger painted with it!"

No.

But they do ask for pictures of my kids a lot, which I proudly oblige.

Because my kids are fricking adorable.

I made a pregnant woman cry because I told her no one gives a damn about her having a second kid because she was annoying me about it. It's true, first kid, sure get all worked about it. Second time around no one really gives a damn.

Hell, no one really gives a shite after your first is like 2 or so, they are just being friendly by asking about it.

Yep, those with "fur babies" are 10x worse IMO

Not a mother or grandmother but our boss talks and acts like his son is the only child that can kick a soccer ball, throw a baseball, catch a football.
The kid is no better than any other kid his age and is average best.
I guess he’s just proud of his kid, but it is a bit much.

This never happens to me. People at work don’t fuks wit me like that.

There are only like 3-4 people at work with whom I share personal information. Everyone else knows by the look on my face that I’m not having it. They know it’s a dead end after that first attempt to tell me about little Jimmy’s puppetry show.

The dads brag about how their son went 4-4 in travel ball, and made the JV team at a 1A private school.

Just give a half-hearted glance at the little shits on her phone, give no facial expression and walk off. Bitch wont be showing you those little petri dishes again.

You going to let me babysit and mentor your son? I'm still open to shaping the hearts and minds of our next generation.

In my office nobody except some of the older managers has kids, but people gush in the exact same way about their dogs.

Dogs are awesome and all but I don't need 10 updates every day about what Rex and Buster are doing on PuppyCam.
