Do not applaud East Feliciana politicians. They don't even have potable water.

And it's been that way for years. You have to boil everything.
Bottled water is the biggest seller at Dollar General and Shoplers value. The only two grocery stores.
Except for liquor, which everyone drinks at the house because there's only two bars in the parish. One on plank about 5 miles from Clinton, and the other on 63 near Dixon.
Don't celebrate these shitheads because they throw out an empty gesture.

They shouldn’t have been shut down in the first place then. Good for them reopening.

Before you pointed this out I was looking to move there

Why don’t you move if you hate it so much?

I’m curious why a Parish that’s so sparsely populated even has a municipal water system.

Not at all congratulations on the move

That reminds me of the water fountain I saw in Kentucky.

East Felciana sounds like what Eddie Money was crooning about.

I can't answer that.
But it hasn't been taken care of in a long, long time.
I think the state has either taken it over, or is in the process of taking it over.

As usual. You’re incorrect.
The town of Clinton has a municipal water system. That is the one fraught with issues and being taken over by the private East Feliciana Rural Water System.

Evacuated to Jackson to East Louisiana State Hospital with my job after Katrina. There was a Subway, a place called Moose’s, and a place called the Surrey to eat at- and that was it. Had to go to Zachary or St Francisville to find anything to do.
