You know they funny thing about the sleeping issue, is once they start sleeping, and they sleep longer than what you are use to, you go and check if they are still breathing.... Then that starts to frick with you.

I did. And he will sleep, eventually. And there is a thing called a "trick baby", that fools you into having more, which i'm sure is what our son was. He was very easy, comparatively speaking, to other babies outside of getting sick often, but he never really cried too much, and when he did, it wasn't very loud.

I have a friend experiencing what you are going through right now, and i know it's not easy. Just saying, once your kid grows out of that phase, it'll all be worth it.

What's he/she have, colic?

Daughter 1 is 2 years 8 months
Daughter 2 is 8 months.

Neither slept well.

Daughter 2 still gets 1-3 times a night. It's just sleep, you'll get more tomorrow. Get some coffee and deal with it.

Have you tried Merlin's Sleep Suit? I have a 6 month old that was just as you described until we put him in that. Has slept 9 hrs a night for 3 months straight. Not saying it will work for you but definitely worth a shot.

I had the same sleep issues with my son when he was first born.. turns out he had problems digesting his formula.. we tried about 4 different kinds and once we figured out that lactaid was what he needed, it's been easy ever since

I hope you guys can get through this.. how old are you and your wife?

No. Feels like it when they're little, and from the ages of 12 to about 25 when they think they're smarter than you.

After that though, it can't be beat. I've got a lot to live for and I know if I'm not able to do some things anymore I won't even have to ask for help with them.

Without kids after a certain point you're just waiting to die, and no one will miss you when you're gone.

but I'm only about 6 months in and have no idea how ppl have multiple kids. Maybe it's just the baby phase idk and maybe it's bc my kid is impossible, never ever sleeps.

No idea. He's always had stomach issues and he's a preemie, could be a lot of it. He vomits food randomly and sometimes an hour or so after eating, maybe once a day. Just praying he starts feeling and sleeping better, after that I feel like all will b so much easier.

Tell your friend to hang in there. In the world we live in it's a lot easier to feel isolated but it's not the case!

Then don't pay minimum wage?

I know a girl who is a nanny that makes $80k/year.

Granted, she had an extensive and impressive portfolio before applying for nanny jobs and secured one with a rich family in the Upper East Side of New York City.
