I’ve been told Im confident to the point of almost being cocky but Im an introvert for all the reasons you mentioned.
I don’t like small talk and do things like that. Almost 100% of my time is occupied so I don’t have time for niceties. I can do public speaking without issue, Im just not going to chat with you about the weather.

I am an introvert that doesn't mind public speaking. I mostly just want to guard my time and choose who I speak to and when. I find most people uninteresting.

I'm confident in myself and am mostly an introvert.
I love being home and away from crowds. But also do just fine in a crowd.
I'm one who prefers just a few close friends than a bunch of aquantinces. If I'm in a large group, I will just talk to those I know instead of small chit chat with a stranger.

This, extroverts just run their mouths about whatever. Some are uncomfortable with silence, almost compelled to fill it with the sound of their voice. In a way, more insecure than introverts.
