My buddy had a deaf baby mama. They were together 5+ years. His imitations of the noises she make was enough to horrify and amuse me.
Fast forward another 7 years, my older brother and his wife have deaf twin boys. They both have cochlear implants, so hoping they adapt to speaking semi normal. Clearly I'm gonna be bookmarking this thread and putting a link to it in their 13th bday cards. It's a weird talk, so i appreciate y'all baws doing it for me.

I have a deaf friend from college. She’s like 80-90% so she can hear sounds but not discern anything. Can confirm the guttural sounds during sex. Overheard her and her BF going at it when a bunch of us went on a trip together.
She’s a cool chick. She’s shockingly good at reading lips, and she can do so pretty scarily well. So if you mumble some smartass comment under your breath she usually will understand exactly what you said. She also used the TTD service. We had this number saved she would call from, she’d talk and then you’d respond and the service would text her what you said so she could read. She was great about saying really inappropriate things over the phone in an attempt to make the poor person listening in as uncomfortable as possible.
