I remember walking through the quad as a freshman in 02, or maybe it was the next year in 03, and seeing this site being advertised written in chalk on the concrete. Or maybe it was another site, can’t remember crap anymore.

Yeah, Reddit is not a place to offer a differing opinion.

(places like r/CFB or some of the SEC team sub reddits) they all say it's a far-right site and filled with old crazies

On reddit, referring to someone as she or he before asking their permission first is far-right.

This board is filled with people constantly shitting on people of younger generations. That's not exactly enticing for a college aged person to want to join.

Very few of them do. To put it into perspective, the millenials that went to college in the early 2000s and used this site are old enough to be parents of today’s undergraduate college students. It’s basically the equivalent of Gen X people asking young kids in the 2000s, who all played Xbox 360, if they still played Atari.

It’s not even close to being a far-right site. There’s a difference between the “mainstream MAGA right” and the extreme right that consists of white nationalists and neo-Nazis.

Sites like Stormfront and GoyimTV are what I would consider “far-right”. This site is moderately conservative.

You’re right but people do like exaggerate things in general (see many sports takes). Especially in politics these days though people like throwing around extremist labels to the point where they start losing meaning

My friends were all surfing on tigerdroppings when I was in college a decade ago. Now they seem to be all gone.
