Older brother, nice successful guy, but constantly tries to argue about everything. Pretty much has to put his 2 cents in on any little thing you talk about, even about something he has no idea about (ie. Someone else's profession)

How often does everyone talk to their siblings? I have an older brother, not very close at all and maybe talk once every 3 months or so. We TXT more than talk. He's an introvert and having a conversation with him seems forced because he just doesn't talk. I'm the opposite and dread being around people that can't carry a conversation.

My little bro thinks a 3sum is going to save his marrisge

My bro is my boy. Irish twins, we are super tight, and hang out regularly. Our wives are great friends, very similar. We most definitely become irritated and tell one another to go frick themselves from time to time. Nothing serious. No real conflict.
Spend enough time with anyone, that kind of stuff will happen.
I text my other, significantly older brother a lot. We talk monthly, always in jocular tone with his family updates mixed in. I will talk with his boys. We see each other much less, three times a year. We rarely have any familial conflict as boundaries were set ages ago.

They are both evangelical fanatic types, holier-than-thou, condescending, don't know how to be friends with normal people because they consider it a spiritual honor for them to grace you with their holy presence and minister to you by showing you what holy loving wonderful people they are while insulting you non-stop.
But on top of that, they both quit their church jobs a few years ago on a whim basically with no plan of what to do from there, justifying with some spiritual hocus pocus nonsense about God leading them through the wilderness and teaching them about following His will and learning how to be better ministers etc, sold their house and moved in with my mother and it doesn't look like they'll move out any time soon.
Sounds reasonable.

Lol at all you frickers. I have a good relationship with my brother. We used to fight a lot growing up together but now that we're doing our own thing, we get along great. He's very successful and doing great things. I couldn't be any more proud of him than I am now.

My sister is selfish and disrespectful to my parents, which really pisses me off because they've bent over backwards for her.

I have 5 sisters and get along with them all but my oldest sister is bat shite crazy. She thinks that because she is the oldest that everything has to be her way, everything has to be about her. It's got to be her way or she gets pissed. She has tried to sleep with every man I ever dated (including my husband who told her she was a nasty ho).
She stole the promise ring that a former fiance gave me because she felt I did not deserve a bigger diamond than she had on her wedding ring.
She took the earrings that my great grandma left to me in her will and said I was not worthy of having them and I could have them only when she felt I deserved them (which will be never, I'm sure), lol.
She came into town for my wedding and an hour before the wedding, my husband's wedding ring mysteriously disappeared from the place in the dresser drawer where it had been for over a year, in the front, right corner. Daddy and I dumped the drawer out and found no ring. I had to borrow my hubby's friend's ring for the ceremony. AFTER my wedding, I found hubby's ring right back were it had always bee in the drawer.. She took it to keep us from having it at the wedding, just something shitty to try and ruin our wedding.
Oh she even made us completely reschedule Daddy's funeral just to suit her and then she didn't even bother to show up at all.
And she wonders why we are all so mean and none of her sisters like her.
Wow. That's one hell of a family black sheep you got there.

My dumbass brother got a DUI back in 2009. It's been all downhill then.

Nah, I love all eight of 'em.

My brother plays Counterstrike on his computer and yells at it until the wee hours in the morning, right down the hallway from my room....
Like right now.
Closing both doors doesn't even help that much.

I have two brothers, five step brothers, and two step sisters. I talk to my brothers once a month. One of my step brothers messed around with one of my other step brother's fiance. That kind of pissed me off. They are still slated to get married in October. Why, I don't know. I don't talk to 90% of my family. Maybe it's my fault?

Holy shite. That would have been the last straw.
