It's easy to turn off the seat belt chime in a ram.

My 03 F250 doesn’t do any of that shite.

It’s not an option. It’s on by default.

Vehicles have gotten more annoying as time goes on. I borrowed a friend's Jeep while my truck was in the shop, and it has that option where the engine shuts off at stops, then restarts when the gas is pushed. fricking annoying.
My Mom's Highlander does this and has adaptive cruise control. Both super annoying.

The worst are the Tesla's that do the adaptive speed/spacing control, but they don't show the brake lights when they begin reducing their speed.
You'll go from a proper following distance to spreading their arse cheeks open within 1 second.

I don’t wear a seatbelt because I’m a real man and it isn’t comfy

My 2017 Wrangler has NONE of it and I’m real excited about it. It did take some re-learning to getting used to not having a backup camera, but no screens, buttons, sensors, etc is
Must suck to ride in a car with zero buttons. Guessing it gets pretty hot and quiet in there?

Not that engine shut off bullshite.
We have a Rav 4 and while the OP is mistaken about the adaptive cruise(you can shut it all off), the rest of that bullshite is stupid.
Bad:
The engine shutoff shite you have to turn off everytime you start the car
The MFer will ding at you even if passengers in the BACK seats aren't buckled.
And it's a pain in the arse to turn on the adaptive cruise with steering assist with lowest setting on braking assist(distance). Takes like 4 button presses every time.
The good:
The blind spot assist has saved my arse on a road trip to Lexington and Cincy.
And the cruise control thing is cool in some situations. For example, if you're behind a slower car on the interstate and put on your blinker, it'll start accelerating to "resume speed" before you even get over to pass the car(have to experience this to appreciate it). It'll essentially give it gas to pass a car without doing anything but using blinker.

He's being a faq. It only does that if you swerve alot or don't use your fricking blinker or braking hard a few times during one trip. He deserves it.
I've gotten that message a total of one time between two road trips of 1500 miles and 800 miles(round trip).

My ‘06 Jeep Wrangler X ask, what are all these bells and whistles you speak of?

This is truly the absolute worst. I hate it.
If it has a disable button, you can put a one shot relay on it to hit the button when the car gets turned on.

Toyota is one of the best vehicles to hsve, if you want to avoid pointless bells and whistles.

Car companies really need to let the owners disable most of these so called safety and gas saving features.
I don't know what you drive, but I turned off almost every safety feature on mine except the ones that don't bother me such as the blind spot beep.
I imagine most brands let you turn things off.

Mine does this too, but you can turn it off. The only annoying thing with this one is that you can't disable it permanently. You have to hit the button to turn it off every time you start a new drive.
