Anytime there is a thread about something political related, like the thread with the teenage kids and the native American, there are comments that come off a little paranoid,
Who really does think that there are entities of some sort really working to change the way people think?

That isn’t even a conspiracy theory.
Everything from businesses to basic human interaction involves that.
There is an entire industry (PR firms) devoted to that simple concept, just from a business standpoint.

This is about people in the Gillette thread who think "they" are trying to change how people think or the AT&T commercial with the gay couple is some kind of plan to take "American values" away from us...

Listen to advertisements (commercials, etc.). Listen/watch the media. You are being sold something from someone with an agenda almost every second you enter the interwebs or turn on the tv.
Then think about where all the money comes from to make these commercials and run these news organizations. Does it ALL come from consumer profits (revenue stream)?
Personally, I don't think so.

Chris how do you think civil rights got to be where they are today? Even women’s rights? There are people and companies paid to push a certain ideal or thought.
