Yes he is. A lot of posters have gotten emotionally invested in this case and it's clouding their vision.

Partially, but hes overstating the importance of a lack of DNA evidence.

quote:

they raped her

The physical evidence now argues the opposite. Not having DNA destroys a lot of the proof of rape.

This is way overblown.

true. I don't think it's a case killer but it's definitely problematic for the prosecution

With enough alternative evidence probably not.

Even with DNA evidence, the defense would have claimed it was consensual.

I'm guessing it's more likely a white woman would take on that roll

This tracks with Washington's statement (which also involves him denying sex), FYI.

Are you referring to his statement to the police? If so I don’t see how you have any idea whether it tracks with his statement, since no transcript has been released. If he stated vehemently that he never touched her, I think finding his DNA on her genital area would actually be fairly incriminating. Not as incriminating as finding internal DNA, but incriminating nonetheless.

So yeah, maybe it tracks with his statement. Or maybe it blows a huge hole in his statement.

For someone preaching to everyone about how evidence will play at trial, you sure are making a lot of assumptions about that same evidence.

Is the defense in better shape than they would have been if internal DNA were found? Well yeah, obviously. Does that mean the prosecution’s case is DOA? I don’t see how anyone can really say, since the defense are the ones leaking evidence to the media.

You guys act like being an attorney gives you the right to be contrarian and condescending, no matter the issue. Also, you guys argue the opposite on all things that should be self-evident

Don't care about DNA at all. Those guys all contributed to her death and clearly and obviously raped her. They all deserve the death penalty.

OK cool, what does that have to do with this:

quote:

they dream of defiling a deceased young girl's memories to protect animals.

?

I'm not on the defense team. I don't take these cases.

Your emotional response shows you're incapable of understanding that explaining a scenario doesn't mean I support parts of that scenario. These are 2 distinct concepts. It's a very simple distinction to understand that either your emotional state or lack of intelligence is creating issues with comprehending.
