You call that partying? We had fricking keg trucks and bands in the front yard
The good old days when bid night was a bacchanal and you got fed beer until you threw up but not before you had your shirt ripped off and you got you your jersey.

The .01% of the 1% that I know that cut very large checks very much valued the greek system and want it to remain intact for future generations. You are correct in that they don't care about the micro issues, but when it his the macro level, it does register
So you know rich people that cut checks and would say either you bring xyz greek back on campus no matter what they did or I will curtail my spending? I am not going to give money to the business school because of what is going on with xyz frat? Even if they say that in public I promise the university is doing a much better job of PR than any group of 20 year olds in history on writing the narrative. But that not withstanding, in today's litigious environment how do people not understand that behavior is not going to fly for much longer. I just don't see well adjusted business men really caring at the end of the day about a frat.

What are the purpose of fraternities, just organized drinking parties?
Once the beer and booze were there, there was NO organization to it!!!!!!!! But they were fun.

Well that says pretty much nothing.
Such a shitty article.

Last year? That was freaking 2013.

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The LSU chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon has been shut down, and the university is now conducting a full investigation on the chapter, according to LSU media relations on Friday. The university and the national organization have placed the chapter on interim suspension.
In 2013, the LSU chapter has recently gotten some unwanted attention for its banner hanging from their house on Dalrymple Drive. The banner read, “Getting massacred is nothing new to Kent State.” The statement is a reference to the infamous 1970 shootings on the Kent State campus.

The picture quickly spread on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, prompting a response from Kent State spokesman Eric Mansfield. A new banner was hanging in its place Sunday. That one reads, “We would like to apologize to Kent State for our inappropriate sign.”
What an information filled article, I tell you h’what

I guess they were quick on the correction.

Don't think people realize this is not a joke. The pledges have to actually screw the goat. This is animal abuse by all standards. Some kid recently brought the actual small goat up to CHS and was telling the CHS boys about it and laughing.

I call bullshite. How are you gonna bring a goat to a high school campus and not have word get out or someone catch them?

That's pretty disgusting that you'd even admit that! Shame on you!

You better ask around if you don't believe it. If anyone knows any CHS boys, ask whether a former student brought a goat to school within the past couple of weeks. Former student is now a freshman at LSU and came back to visit former teachers with his "pet goat". He's now a DKE at LSU.

There were a good number of Shreveport guys who pledged DKE back in the day
The 80's and 90's DKE house was full of guys from two catholic schools.. One from New Orleans and one from Shreveport. Mid to late 90's saw a decline from the Shreveport side.
