Sounds like another thread. How do you fund your sidepiece without your spouse finding out? hmm

Get a prenuptial agreement before getting married.

She must have a stellar following on her Only Fans account

In my experience with friends that have gotten divorced, the situation you describe is quite abnormal.
I do know a divorced lady that lives high on the hog, but she was a shareholder in her dad's company and gets a monthly check from its sale a few years ago. Don't know how much, but she told us one night she doesn't have to work for the next 10 years because of that money each month. She does work a part time job though.

Trying to avoid too many specifics. It's a gubment job.
I'll just assume she took all the equity in their old house, and likely has support from her folks. Who knows.
I just feel sorry for divorced guys out there that go from living in a house, to stuck in an apartment living like a pauper.

It seems less common for the man to get raked over the coals now. Most of the people that I know who have gotten divorced in the past 10 years have 50/50 custody of the kids and don't pay child support. Obviously they split the assets.

Living alone in an apartment easily beats living in a mansion with a bitch.

The country needs to do away with payments after divorce. It is outdated and no longer needed. Split the shite 50/50 and walk away no other financial ties.

div dad checking in here. we can do it because we're fricking MEN and we know how to live on pennies for as long as necessary while our exes take that massive payday from the div payout and burn through it within the first year.
alimony is basically welfare for exes because the courts know they would be bankrupt within 6 months if they didn't have some kind of guaranteed monthly stipend.

you can't put a price on serenity. have you ever actually met a divorced man living in a modest apartment that was unhappy?
