We can expect that cancel culture accusations will be flying around for the next several days and I have accepted it as a norm in this world. There's things I know I can't say or do without the power of somebody coming down on me.

Over the years, we've been cancelled, scolded, and gaslighted, and conservatives just expect it. Not that we want it, we just know the retribution is real.

If I go on a rampage posting outrageous fake stuff about Chicken, I can expect a ban.

If I post crap about Zuck, I can expect a Facebook ghosting.

So, it is only fair that Disney do the same for Kimmel.

But it's not really the same because Disney wasn't cancelling him for what he said, believes or does. Disney/ABC's decision is a result of station franchises refusing to air that arse nugget's continual offense toward probably half their viewing audience and it hurts them in the pocketbook.

Disney is no bastion of fairness to the masses and their sense of fairness will not match mine.

Why is it so IMPOSSIBLE for Jimmy Kimmel NOT to be a complete trash human?

He’s paid millions to spout the narrative, but he crossed a legal line this time and they know a lawsuit will cost them much more, and it should. The guy is an absolute douche bag, good riddance. Guess he can go back to wearing blackface and watching girls jump on a trampoline on the man show.

Exactly, look at the map, it’s mostly red. These stations answer to their viewers. I think companies are realizing the economic power of Twitter isn’t greater than the conservatives.

Nahhhhh….that makes far too much logical sense for it to be true. Are you telling me that networks that have incredibly high budgets need advertisement revenue and will make decisions based upon direct influence of profits?

bullshite. They did this because an investigation was threatened. And that in no way shape or form raises any questions like “what are they afraid an investigation will find?”

Kimmel had one of the best late-night talk shows in history.

Only to his radical leftist upper east coast fans. A sad departure from the "Man Show" co-host.

A huge part of the problem in society really is people abusing their platform to make political statements. People are exposed to politics everywhere. So stfu and dribble/tell jokes/do magic whatever.

Yes. Terminally online people who think their extremism is a mainstream way of thinking. A lot like the political board here.

By what metric? Amount of tears shed? Amount of lions he didn't know about cried over?

From that same poll:

quote:

But YouGov has asked this question multiple times since 2022, and found some noticeable changes in opinion. For one thing, while Republicans are more likely than Democrats to say political violence is a very big problem in September 2025, in the wake of Kirk's shooting, the reverse has been true when YouGov has asked this question after attacks on Democratic political figures. How concerned Americans are about political violence is related to some degree to whether someone from their side or from the other side is the most recent to be attacked.

This poll was done on September 10.

Just something to keep in mind here.

Youre so far to the fringe you cant see the center.

Charlie was very classic social conservative. You bitches live in such tiny little bubbles you have no clue where the sunlight comes from.

Extremist is thinking words are violence and the speaker of words deserves death.

The real “facts over feelings” crowd will have no trouble admitting that a psychopath with a gun killed Charlie Kirk, not the entire leftist population.

Yeah, but the entire leftist population is just as culpable because they have used Nazi, fascist , Racist , bigot, blah ,blah, blah to describe the right or anyone without their extreme far left views.

So why yes, one deranged psychopath pulled the trigger the rest of the left can’t be absolved of the hand they had.

Progressives ONLY understand rights. They have zero concept of self responsibility

Their entire ideology is wrapped around "society did this to me."

This is the problem. Of course, only one person pulled the trigger. But that trigger pull was directly influenced by years of divisiveness and calls of violence from democrats.

The goal is to dehumanize so murder is justified.

Why would anyone oppose the murder of a Nazi?
