So they'll no longer be addressing my daughters as "princess?" Ridiculous.

Oh, you mean the business and brand built by someone else and much beloved based on family values that made it so big that’s now been corrupted and perverted by a disgusting group of Johnny come latelys obsessed with sexualizing kids?
If Walt Disney could see what they would do with his legacy, he probably would have said frick it and make Mickey die in a mousetrap
Progressives are like Morgoth. They cannot create, only twist and corrupt.

You do realize this is a thread about Disney, right?

The old trope that republicans are red neck trailer trash is way off base. The “white non-college educated” voting block is something the left loves to harp on about conservatives.
Well maybe we should harp on how your side has pretty much every non college educated black and Hispanic.
But no. We don’t bring that up because we actually like to debate the issue at hand and don’t stoop to useless ad hominem attacks.

Love how you people cry about trusting the science all pandemic long, and then completely disregard it when it comes to shite as simple as men and women. Or the whole my body my choice crap when it comes to killing babies because their unborn life doesn't mean shite to you, but hey you'd better wear a mask because "I say you should and don't care about what you choose." Liberal stupidity and flagrant hypocrisy knows no bounds.
You can’t have freedom of speech for yourself while not allowing others their freedom of speech. You also can’t complain that a private corporation sets certain standards but be okay with states eliminating freedoms in schools

WRONG!!! They have singularly come up with 19 new genders in the last 2 years!
By corrupting the two actual genders.

Wrong. There's 37 genders. Men, women, and 35 kinds of fig.

I mean not patronizing a business is a great way to effect their bottom line.
If enough people truly care about this and don’t go then that will effect them.

ahh, the “just ignore it” tactic. that’s worked so well the last few years. brilliant.
Money is at the heart of everything.
If you actually had enough people caring enough about this topic to boycott Disney you could make a dent.
Instead people would rather go to Disney world than be upset about this.
Maybe your position isn’t as passionately defended as you think.

the "be mad on the internet" tactic hasn't worked so well either

I didn't realize Walt Disney was a progressive

I am a very Conservative Christian. However, I also have a slight libertarian bent. I have a bit of a live and let live attitude about some things. So when church ladies used to get up in arms about sex education in schools I kind of rolled my eyes. I wasn't for it but didn't think it could do much harm as long as things were age appropriate. Those ladies are looking pretty wise now that they are trying to teach 3rd graders about gay sex. I remember rolling my eyes at the SBC for doing a Disney boycott because they had gay days. Those crazy fundamentalist! Fast forward a bit and now they want to make half the Disney characters identity about where they put their private parts. Now I am all in for a boycott. It's amazing the perspective a little time will give you.

that’s weak, especially from you Salmon. Sorry I’ve taken a shot at your ideology.

its your own logic
ignoring it or whatever has been just as successful as whatever it is you do to combat it

The best part of all of this is the reason Walt Disney created Disneyland in the first place is he was tired of taking his daughters to places that were dirty and unsafe. A place that would allow kids and parents to partake in the amusement park experience together in a pure environment.
Now it's become a bunch of weirdos and vloggers walking around childless causing 2 hours waits to ride a Peter Pan themed ride.
We're waaaay off the tracks I'm afraid.
