It says Magic Kingdom in Orlando only expected 15000 vistors per day on this opening weekend....honestly that sounds pretty awesome for Disney even with COVID precautions considering it normally averages quadruple that amount of people per day...I wonder how long the wait was in the ride lines

Not so friend....but go ahead and just do whatever your governor tells you to do...I'm sure he has your best interests at heart

Exactly what does the Governor get for requiring masks? If it causes him so much pleasure, why didn't he do it four months ago?

Power. Petty tyrants are like that.

He didn't have enough Karens such as yourself sufficiently terrified by the media for a disease that continues to have a falling death rate.

More irrefutable concrete evidence that masks do not work.
So next time you have surgery you are good with the surgeon not wearing a mask?

I’m old enough to remember the Hong Kong flu, and now this shite.

Posted wait times for some of the more popular attractions were about 25 min this weekend from what I saw on social media. Actual wait times for many rides were shorter than that, if not walk ons.

Because of Hong Kong Fluey?

All of a sudden the damn things are priced like they are gold.
I'm supposed to donate my good N95 masks, that I actually need for work purposes, to healthcare workers. Being that I am more likely to have longterm health damage from breathing sawdust and MDF dust, I will continue to use my N95 masks in the shop.
Though "face coverings" are bullshite, I'm going to continue to use my cooling neck gaiter that I can see through when required. I'm not dipping into the beer fund to pay $50+ for a box of surgical masks that are, by every real account, considered disposable and shouldn't be reused.

We just need to flatten the curve and for people to stay home for a few weeks. Then everything will be back to normal.
Promise.

Trump didn't mandate any closures or mask ordinances. They petty tyrants you think have your best interest at heart did.
Not that you care. You're getting off on this shite just as much as the politicians are, just like all the other Karens.

So next time you have surgery you are good with the surgeon not wearing a mask?
Let me explain why this is a dumb thing to say. The reason that the surgeon and all other personnel in an OR are wearing masks is because you are open somewhere, with your insides exposed. It is extremely important to keep a sterile environment in that situation, since you could pick up God knows what floating around in the air. You could potentially die if you get infected. My grandfather died in the 1930's due to infection after having a surgery.
In the case of wearing a mask out in public right now, it's a safety precaution to prevent spreading a virus through coughing, sneezing, talking, laughing, etc.
Do you not see the difference between those two scenarios? I mean I get the direction, but it's just a tad bit overkill to use that specific rhetorical question.

this is why other countries, particularly smaller ones, open up quicker than us, because they shut everything down as soon as it shows signs
hard shut downs are more effective than whatever it is we are doing, but a hard shut down is pretty much impossible here, so

Good question....you should ask Fauci and the national Dim party.
The better question though would be this....If masks work so damn good, why didn't he do it four months ago?
