So the mask thing is just to get another month of compliance out of people then in about August when cases are still going up (buy deaths and hospitalizations are historically low) they will say there is no way to stop the increase in cases but to go back to a stay at home order....and that will get you to election day probably....and will keep the economy at a standstill at best but probably worse than it was in April/May.

Why are they shutting down....it's because the narrative over there has changed to you cannot stop the spread without shutting down AKA masks don't work.

It's called cost - benefit analysis....they've been done on cloth face masks way before anyone (well other than China maybe...who knows how long they had this virus) ever knew what COVID was. It never turned out well for the cloth mask.
