California has some of the strictest fire protection rules in the country. I know that building is sprinklered just because the size, much less the commodities that are stored there. I agree, something prevented the water delivery to the suppression systems.

They will get at least 6 weeks in prison for that in California.

There's already a colossal shortage of TP in SoCal now-- and it's not because people are "hoarding" the precious commodity.

The mysterious-- and literally earthshaking--warehouse fire in Ontario destroyed 8 city blocks worth of TP and paper towels, and Ralphs, Albertsons and other grocery outlets in the area are rapidly running slap out of the essential commodity.
