Discussion Of Mega-Churches 2.0

There was a thread on here a few days ago about megachurches. It was mentioned that some of these churches have cafes/concessions in which they sell coffee, drinks, etc.

Well last night on CNN the first episode of the season for United Shades of America was came on and I decided to record it because it was about megachurches.

In the show he visited several megachurches in Dallas and I was hoping it would be geared more towards looking at how the pastors live, the money they bring in, etc, but it mainly just showed how many different megachurches there are in Dallas and that they are all different. Some drive a more political agenda than others (and there are some churches that push one side, some push the other side).

But they did show a church in which they sold tea, coffee, muffins, etc, etc.. It was a church in which the production that goes into it was shown. But the thing that I thought was interesting was.. Every single person who works the concessions, who works in production, lights, music, etc.. They are all volunteers.
