Kraft garlic cheese roll. The Holy Grail when it comes to making cheese grits, spinach Madeleine casserole, etc. Quite a few southern cooks lost their shite when Kraft discontinued it. I've tried other things but nothing is quite the same. I've heard Callandro's makes something similar in house. Anyone tried it?

Duncan Hines soft Chocolate Chip cookies.
When then first came out, not about a year later when they essentially became a chocolate nugget wrapped in a thin layer of cookie.

My jaws clinched just seeing that Gatorade gum. I chewed it and loved but I remember that first bite into it was always rough.

78's were thicker and tougher, made of shellac instead of vinyl and were obsolete by the 1940s. they use a different needle, it's like a fricking nail and will destroy your vinyls if you forget. the ones that had a separate 78 setting you were supposed to change the needle. you might as well buy a separate player if you have some 78s.
In the 60s and early 70s they made turntables with flippable headshells with shellac needles on opposite side.

Not even close to the OG ones unfortunately. The new ones taste like salted chemical trash. Although same could be said for most Doritos flavors these days due to big foods addition of artificial everything in the last few decades
That's the thing.
Even the items they still make from when I was a kid are insultingly pitiful comparisons. Everything has been cheapened and enshitified in the chase for more profit.
The 80's and early 90's were the peak.
