Not exactly a product but as a kid I used to love the old popcorn holders at old Tulane Stadium. After you got finished eating your popcorn, it doubled as a megaphone.

My grandmother would take me sometimes to get refills at the back dock of the Ouachita coke bottlers factory and we would open the trunk and they would remove our 2 wooden cases of 6 1/2 oz bottles and drop 2 more in

She always had 2 or 3 in the fridge and would put them in the freezer right before we got to her house and we'd open those things on her back porch and ice would immediately form inside

That 6 1/2 oz bottle was like the best thing ever on a hot la summer day.

Something about those glass bottles added to the sharpness of the cold.

We may have been the last generation to collect those bottles and return them for cash.

5 cents for the regular size and occasionally we'd hit the motherlode and find a 32oz bottle and get 10 cents!

Crazy how so many people just threw these out of their car windows and we'd make enough combing for bottles up and down the highway for a game of space invaders and a few pieces of candy.

Loved King vitamin. Even sent away box tops for the castle which was insanely cool. Even came with a catapult

Butternut candy bar. Hershey's bought the Hollywwod candy company in the early 80's. They discontinued the Butternut because it was the main competition of Snickers. Frick those guys.

The Wendy.s Superbar was my first experience with fillers. You would eat half a plate and felt full. This was the one by Gatti’s on LSU campus.

My memory says it wasn’t bad. Kinda of a PJs style crust. The Silsbee, TX location is the only place I remember seeing it.

Spiced Apple Rings. I think they still exist but they used to be common in grocery stores and now very rare.
