Agree. If you're going out to eat somewhere, make sure you have your kid under control or leave the place. Its selfish to just sit there and let your kid scream their heads off without doing anything about it.

These parents are why there are a number of "kid-free" restaurants popping up across the country. People who can't control their kids ruin it for the ones that can.

You have to be an older kid to get into this sushi spot, in the suburbs of Washington, DC. Sushi Bar has a no patrons under 18 policy. They say it “allows us to provide the perfect environment for small groups and couples out on ‘date night’.” Owner Mike Anderson has four other restaurants, all kid-friendly.
He told MSN that he decided to do this after checking out the crazy, kid-filled scene at one of them, Mango Mike’s. “There must be 50 kids in that joint. It’s pandemonium. We ran it by some parents that had kids, and I would say eight out of 10 thought it was a great idea. They said, ‘You’re on to something here’.”

Damn I've been to that diner. It's actually pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but better than your average diner.
She's way in the wrong for yelling at a damn toddler, but those parents need to be bitch slapped for letting their kid sit there and cause a scene without taking it outside.

Well we see who sucks at parenting here. If your kid is being an asshat in a restaurant, you take them outside to calm them and if they won't calm, you leave the restaurant. You don't make everyone in the restaurant deal with your piece of shite kid.

She asked the parents to leave her restaurant, they refused. She could of just called the cops for them trespassing, yelling did the trick without resorting to that.

A business owner can have whatever expectations they want from their clientele- a demand they meet that standard or make clear that they are not welcome if they fail to do so. Clearly the customers now know what to expect from this place- a peaceful meal free of wailing brats.

My kids are good, I do not go to restaurants that have slow service or aren't pretty active...well I can now, but in the past I wouldn't....I just hated the whole process.
But it is a diner, and IF it had 75 people in it, I have to imagine the kid must have been raising holy hell to get the owner that upset.
