I suspect these two things are probably true:

a) the owner is a giant count
b) sometimes it takes a giant count to do the right thing

If you go to Diners/IHOP/Shoney's/Piccadilly, you have to expect kids acting up sometimes. That's part of the reason for places like this to exist -- places the entire family can go eat, while the parents socialize the children and teach them how to act in public.

On her side. A local restaurant around here has rules on the menu.

1)if you cannot see your child...you are messing up.
2)if you cannot hear your child, but other people can...you are messing up.
3)if you can't see your child, but can hear him/her...you are really messing up

Great you have a kid. I've taken my kids out to restaurants. They cry, and I spend the next 10 to 15 out by the car until they are ready to act normal. Its just respectful to other people.

Not everyone is a pussy. I wouldn't have let the situation get that bad in the first place. I always take my kids outside or to the bathroom if they are getting fussy, but if some bitch was yelling at my toddler, you bet your arse she's getting smacked.

You want to know how I know you did not read the article?

The parents purposefully made the child cry by placing it's food out of reach. It was disturbing the whole restaurant, employees and other customers.

She walked over and politely asked them to either make it stop crying or take it outside. They refused because, "Whatevuh, I do what I want." She requested that she be allowed to pack their food to go. They refused.

She yelled at it and the dad. It STFU. They are all njow doing the internet tough guy thing on Facebook.

You kidding? I would never even let it come close to that. I've punched people in the face for glancing at my toddler.

1) The parents are obviously worthless
2) Owner should have just asked the family to leave the restaurant
3) lsuhunt is basically like those black parents who show up at a middle school and assault a teacher because his kid is a TPOS just like him

That's a dingo-crazy bitch.

There are some places you do/don't take your toddler to as said. If you do, man up and make the child be quiet.

And you do not yell at someone else's kid. You don't. Yell at the parents, if anything.

Its a fricking diner. Whats the issue.. The cook couldn't hear her yelling at him at the top of her lungs? The drunk people couldn't yell at the bum to get away from them? The a-hole screaming for his coffee was not able to scream louder than the toddler? A diner is simply one of the loudest places one can eat at as it is.

I didn't read the article, but did watch the video. The parents sound like complete assholes and are the ones who deserve a smacking.
