It has 12 different games built in. That's why it has two joysticks and so many buttons.

I know your approximate age because I’m shopping for the same shite.

I find it funny.

I always loved the sounds that Defender made.

I thought 2 player Defender was alternating, not co-op/competitive like some eg Joust, were.

Yep.

Defender and asteroids were my all-time favorites. Track & Field was up there too.

What was your favorite arcade game?

I still play it 40 years later via emulation all the time...probably will until I'm dead

Its a Defender housing but also has:
Mortal Kombat™, Mortal Kombat II™, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3™, Joust™, Defender™, Rampage™, Gauntlet™, Paperboy™, Rootbeer Tapper™, Bubbles™, Toobin™, and Wizards of War™.

I can mop the floor with any of you baws at defender and tempest. Yes there was 2 player option but NOT AT THE SAME TIME.

Do y'all not have retro arcades where you live? I love nothing more than going to one of the pinball/arcade bars here in Nashville and taking all Top Ten places in defender, tempest and Tron.

Not even break a sweat. Back in the day my scores might make the daily top ten but not the all time.

I weep for our children.

Defender trick is to ease off the thrust when hitting traffic and using both pointer and index finger to "drum" the fire button while straffing up and down to ensure you will mow everything down.

Oh and hit "reverse" at the same time as "smart bomb" so it will wipe out both the pods and the swarmers.

If you don't do that it's likely the pods will be eliminated but all the swarmers are unleashed.

Follow me for more tips nobody in 2024 will ever need.

Kung Fu Master

*more specifically, at the Time Saver on the corner of Jefferson Hwy and Rural Rd in River Ridge. Better show up early and line those quarters up

That's Missle Command.
And Centipede.

To me, the best two player games were Joust and the obscure but awesome Space War.

Anyone ever play the Atari xs and os football game with the bowling ball track ball?

You got that ball and you were off the ground trying to spin that fricker and it would always leave to a painful pinch as your skin got sucked into the crevice between the heavy arse trackball and the cabinet.

bought a keyboard when I modded my arcade 1up strictly so I would have access to all the space war configurations.

It's as fun 45 years later as it was when I was 12
