Did the government screw the end game?

Just thought of this. Say Mid April comes, and the government decides the curve (whatever the hell that is) is doing what the anticipated. Issue an announcement to reopen everything. Does society still not buy the BS and continue to hunker down/accuse the government of not being truthful?

Hang on, I’m going to need some tin foil before I can answer.

A huge issue I have with all this bullshite is the endgame really isn't defined.
We seem to be making up shite as we go.

I really don't understand the curve. It all started with one person, so that's all it takes to infect again. Makes me believe this is all bullshite.

Why would anyone trust our government? This same guy was saying fake news as the infection spreading in the US now he's saying how severe it is. In a way, poor leadership is partially why it has spread so fast here. If we shut our air travel down immediately when the outbreak happened in China we'd be in a much better position right now to contain or slow it.
Don't think any administration could prepare for this but Trump royally fricked up in so many ways I can't count. So yeah, government distrust is partially on him for the messages he consistently sends to the public and maybe why some didn't take it seriously early enough.

Yes it’s what you do with something novel.

JBE fricked up by not forcing NO on lockdown
Now the rest of the state & parishes with 0 cases are paying the price

I agree. JBE is a fricking idiot too.

The beauty of a free press and private enterprise is that the truth always comes out. If Dear Leader tries to stand up and say everything is contained and safe while experts and media are reporting we've yet to peak, well yeah, people will stay home.

Can you stop bleeding all over the board about Trump

I think it will be the other way around. The government extends the shutdown orders and millions of Americans say “frick that.”

No. It's really not.
There always needs to be an endgame. An established goal.
When fighting a war. Is the goal expulsion of enemy from a region?
Removal of a leader?
You always need a finish line.

What happens if they reopen everything and this virus takes a second swing on society?

The measures being taken are not to stop the spread. We cant. It's to slow it down so not everyone comes down with it at once and overloads the healthcare system.

We ignore it and keep living our lives.
