If the motive was to cover an accident. Getting through them being so brutal to make it appear as an outsider. Why would they implicate themselves with the $118,000 bonus check? That is stupidity even in haste.
Writing a long ransom note to make it appear like Patsy wrote it (which in of itself is something a serial killer would do as a psyop)
A normal set of parents in haste would write 1 million some odd dollars. Again the killer wanting to pin it on Burke & Patsy.
Then asking for the 18K in a different denomination to me proves the psyop of a crazy person.
Who is to say whoever the intruder was didn't have access to the house? Either a known pedo sick in the head-- by sneaking in daily to smell JonBenet's panties via a broken window- and do intel on Patsy's desk-or a family friend?
Back then home security was rare even with the wealthy in a small cozy town. Getting to the desk (no computers quite yet) of the person that paid all the bills would show a bank record book of the dad's bonus...

Has anyone followed every suspect for 30 years? There are so many crazy people.
If it was John & Patsy covering up Burke. Burke went on to have them all to himself.
We will never know because the local police never did their jobs; and called the FBI and special units created just for this case.
The FBI was more competent back then.

I didn't mean a literal news letter. I also didn't know he was CEO. The general gist of some loon that works at the father's company got the insider information. Or a family friend...
