Administration was terrible. Facilities at the undergrad campus were terrible. Law Center facility was fine. You see a difference with students who went to HBCU undergrad. I never had any bad experiences due to my race. You just notice a difference in culture.
Being that I paid off my student loans three months ago, I'd definitely do it all again

As a former shitty student at Tech, I can say I never knew anyone that did this. I did have some Grambling folks in my classes at Tech, though.

I had to take a class at SUNO as part of the government's attempt to integrate it with UNO. There were about 80 students in the class, only about three of them were SUNO students. The professor took roll every day, consuming about 15 minutes of class time. It reminded me of high school, and attendance was required for the SUNO students. UNO did not care if you attended class, just take your "F" and leave through the exit door.

I graduated Southern Law with at least a thousand dollars in unpaid parking tickets and never heard a word about it. So inefficiencies can have their perks.
It also prepared me to deal with government procedures & employees throughout our state's fine judicial system.

ASU lost my application. I went to admissions to get it sorted out, and it looked like they have never heard of a computer or scanner. Stacks of paper everywhere, applications, essays, etc. It's amazing that anyone got admitted.

I was in law school so most kept it professional. I remember some fricking idiots in my class, but I don't recall any yelling or shouting.
I will say the step shows for homecoming were incredible. They all were doing their thing and all the white kids were off to the side filming it on our cell phones just giggling hysterically. I still have the videos. That was probably the biggest "you're not in Kansas anymore, Toto" moment for me.

Like most universities many do have terrible alumni support, but some have awesome alumni support, especially some the private HBCUs.

No but I always found it funny that Southern and Xavier's tennis teams were mostly all white / Latin. Those were the only times my Loyola NO teams won #WolfpackPride
