I still get most prime items same day or the next day. At the latest it’s 2 day delivery here

Same. And even on the occasion it's not 2-day, it is still faster than elsewhere.

I've been buying a ton of things from Target lately, and that stuff has all taken at least a week to arrive. They email you when you order, when they're preparing the ship, when they've shipped, when you're a day from receiving the item, day of arrival, and then when it has been delivered. It's obnoxious and lasts about a week.

It’s still COVID causing shipping delays. Uh…yeah, that’s it.

I'm an actual 7-figure Amazon seller(not the scam YouTube variety) & I know they are slammed right now due to being understaffed. I normally have 80-100 orders waiting to ship - right now I have 271 pending orders. They just don't have the manpower to get shipments in & out right now.

I'd give it till a few days before Christmas & everything should be back to normal.

I'm guessing this is the electronics category? Amazon let's Chinese sellers list their cheap bullshite & pushes to the top of their searches. Many other problems with Chinese sellers, but Amazon let's them slide while being overly authoritarian with honest transparent American sellers.

I have Prime and the Amazon Prime Visa.

That combo gets me a 5% cash back on Amazon purchases.

I get back $50-$100/mo in cash back so that makes Prime worth it. For me

Prime is still the best deal going. Prime video, music, Audible, free two day shipping, deals on Prime Day. It's def worth a few dollars a month.

I’ve routinely gotten items in the guaranteed prime two day shipping. I wonder if the shipping delays is due to the increased volume due to Christmas

It's not the delivery speed for us. I am fine with waiting. I like Prime for the FREE shipping. Those big bags of dog food and other items that would normally charge you "shipping & handling" aren't being charged to you with Prime. That's the main reason we use it.

I ordered a bunch of stuff this afternoon and it shows Tuesday, so it's still there.

Same here but the delivery time is clearly beyond the two day window for many orders

It is terrible. I rarely buy anything that isn't a name brand. The amount of no name copycat "brands" on Amazon is super annoying when I want to search for something.

I just ordered something Friday evening with a Prime date of the following Saturday.

The quality of their delivery drivers is awful too. I have a big covered porch but sometimes they throw packages on the sidewalk leading to the porch instead.

We get deliveries at work and many times they show up after 5 pm. This 100% NEVER happens with UPS or FedEx. One time they left a package out over a weekend on a busy commercial street on our stoop.

It’s seems like they have focused on same day or next day shipping in large cities and put less priority on the rest of us. I don’t expect things to be fast in Alaska but it’s gone from 2 weeks to about 25 days for most items.

I assume it’s because of the holiday season

Eh, I’m sure this just depends on routes. My UPS guy comes after dark no matter what. My FedEx guy comes before lunch no matter what.

Same. Faster is obviously better, but speed is not the reason I have Prime.

We use ship to store quite a bit for target. The emails are super annoying. I created a folder in my Gmail and Filter that mess out of my inbox.

We get a lot of stuff same/following day. Obvious caveat is finding items with the prime check mark next to it

Plus 5% back with the Amazon Chase CC as others have said and it’s still an excellent deal (at least for Hoodlands, TX)
