Ate at the one in Oxford twice. Both times I was the only one in there.
Ask CEO.

Every now and then I'll go sober and get one and a pizza stick for dinner. No shame at all.

I have watched the Dickies franchise themselves out from their Dallas roots. They tried to be the McDonalds of bbq;
Fell way short in my opinion

Dickey's sucks. There are several right by me and I never go.
Now you're making me miss Luther's though...

True, but the best one I've ever had used to yell at the people placing lunch orders on the phone "I TOLD YOU. Ain't no goddamn ribs until after 3."
There is a place for chain bbq, if it is at least decent.

The Dickies in Covington is horrible.

Everytime I eat Dickey’s ribs, I get the runs!!

And I thought it was fine for that. But BBQ is just something that people want to wait in line for in an independent joint.

They just opened two or three in the lake Charles area. Never touch the stuff.

We had one in Houma about 7 years ago. I think it lasted 6 months.

Best thing about Dickey’s were the big arse plastic cups.

There wasn't nobody going to Dickeys when you had Big Mike's BBQ in the same town.

Yeah and every random house in Louisiana you eat at is filled with master chef winners.
Dickies blows, but if you can’t see the convenience factor of a chain that is open every day, I can’t help you.

Their food isn't bad, in my opinion, but they are way overpriced for what you get. Their frito pie is pretty damn good.

Ridiculous prices for what often seems like boiled “BBQ.” They want you to lather it in their sauce which is not the way beef brisket should be eaten.
