She's depressed and blaming it on "long covid."
Women can drag the last drop of drama out of any situation.
remember when everyone thought leaking silicon breast implants caused health issues and HUNDREDS OF WOMEN flooded Oprah with tearful updates on all their medical conditions only to disappear like a fart in the wind when 100% of the scientific studies proved that wasn't true?

Covid isn’t real, remember? The OT said so. It’s just the flu
Some have been around long to remember when the antivaxxers claimed covid is the flu

A friend of mine was diagnosed with long Covid last summer -the symptoms were very similar to Cowern’s but no ER visit and it only lasted about 3 weeks
I had Covid in August of 2021 which put me in the hospital. It took 3 weeks total before I was no longer “sick”, but the fatigue and brain fog took months to recover fully from. It was well into September before I could physically walk more than a block down the street. I really wasn’t 100% until January of 2022. That fatigue was real and would hit me like a ton of bricks.

Not talking about her in specific but it would be reasonable to use that term for someone that develops certain symptoms when they get Covid that then never really go away (or for an extended period of time)
IDK. It's up to the medical community to come up with the definition of Long Covid and the clinical test to prove it. It could be depression triggered by covid? I really don't know. It just seems kind of ambiguous at this point.

Most obvious instance would be those who lost sense of taste or smell.
Now we are getting somewhere. These symptoms make sense that you might have Long Covid. You had covid, have overcome the acute symptoms, and now you are dealing with long terms symptoms of the loss taste and smell.

How do you know if you have it or not? Are there any test?
No and most of the claims are bullshite.
But some people who had COVID pretty badly never got over a symptom or two. They know from tests the symptoms started with COVID and know they haven’t gone away.
I know an older lady that has not gotten over a wicked cough for 2 years after a hospital stay with COVID.

"Long covid"? Chronic fatigue syndrome?
Probably has Epstein–Barr or Morgellons Disease too

Oh I know that. The best part is my complete lack of fear of anything that could harm me. Comes in handy when your brain's default setting is that death is a reward.
Only things that scare me have to do with my kids and passing this on.

Yet you don’t see the irony of someone being completely fine for 3 years after the vaccine, then die and then saying “vaccine is definitely the cause”

Depression concerns me for my kids. It's on my wife's side. She does not have it but she had a bother that did and it is debilitating and effects everyone.

the clinical test to prove it. I
That won’t happen. We have never had tests to prove myocarditis after a virus was caused by the virus they just had

My older brother (farmer, would fit in with the O-T Lounge) lost his sense of smell two years ago and still hasn't gotten it back.
My younger sister lost her sense of smell but got it back about a year later when she got Covid a second time. It was crazy.
I never lost my sense of smell. I tested positive for Covid once (had a fever for 6ish hours, was then fatigued for a few weeks) and was probably asymptomatic a second time when my wife got it again.
Very weird

People get messed up by the flu, also. We just don’t call it “Long Flu”.

It's clear Big pharma won't let this cash cow die anytime soon.
And these stupid fricks keep giving them reasons with shite like this.

What clinical test were used to confirm long covid? Just curious.

Most of my energy is spent trying to not burden those around me with my shite, and it is exhausting. I understand and acknowledge that I am fricked in the head. Those who don't are the ones you have to worry about.

They should give her placebos and xanax and see what happens, but tell her it's a trial long covid drug.
