No, they don't have any beer cold at the stores... to discourage people from opening them up as soon as they get in their vehicle.

The amount of dui's they could give out after a game would be amazing. But there is nowhere to put them all.
The amount of money made for everyone (the state, defense attorneys), and convictions/arrests to be made should make BRPD and EBRSO all get hard ons.
Hell, with at least $10k/arrest, the numbers get big quickly. They could even offer a settlement program to get out by paying a big fine to cover the states budget crisis.
As far as housing, I am sure some creative accommodations could be made.

Wow. That should be illegal. But smart.

Well that blows. Nothing better than a skunked beer

IIRC, most states don't allow alcohol to be sold that way, in a "ready to consume" manner.
I have been very disappointed on several road trips to pull into a gas station and not be able to buy cold beer or hot booze. At the same time, my out of state friends come to visit and see they can buy a fifth at Circle K. The difference between Catholics and Protestants.

That would be such a clusterfrick.
Not to mention, can't piss off those big TAF donors.

I remember going to bourbon st. The night before lsu played Oklahoma in the dome . The amount of people driving out of New Orleans drunk had to be 10,000 at least. No checkpoints that I saw anywhere.

Crawl out from under that rock. You think the huge coolers full of ice and beer are in gas stations so homeless people can buy them?
I purchase cold wine at gas stations occasionally. Even champagne (Thanks Bocage gas station!). Are you saying this is because I'm expected to pop it open during the car ride to my home?

There are people that do this.

I'm serious. Maybe it is a blue collar thing but I've never seen anyone dig out one of those beers or malt liquors who aren't paying in spare change.

How do you hold your pinky when you drink your Bocage champagne?

Rebekah Gee has had a long, strange trip to NOLA and the DHH.
Her dad is a famous University President, was at Brown, Vandy & OSU.
Presently in his second tenure as President of WVU.
Her mom died from breast cancer in '91.
She is a up-East academic All-Star (Penn Med), and was married to another academic All-Star who was on staff at Mass General.
In July of 2008, he (the husband) drove them into the side of a Range Rover on a Vespa (they were riding double on the scooter).
Neither doctors were wearing helmets, Schmidt.
She survived, he didn't.
The driver of the car was not cited. (Hint as to who was at fault)
Long rehab for her.
Now she's LA DHH Secretary.
I know of the family as my brother and SIL (no pics) are muckety-mucks at WVU.

Must be a complete middle to South Louisiana and entire Mississippi thing, because I've seen, worked with, and known people all over that do it
You can drink in your car in Mississippi. There's no open container law. It's illegal in Louisiana where there is an open container law.

I did not know this... My boss took a camping trip there last year and said he made sure he had no empty beer cans in the back of his truck in case they got stopped....

I will never go back to Indiana, only time I've had beer with ice.
