She's completely right, we should replace the liquor drive through with a cannabis drive through.

I was sitting here thinking... there's no fricking way that's legal... so I googled.

Open Container Laws By State

quote:

Only the state of Mississippi permits drivers to consume alcohol while driving. However, the driver must still stay below the 0.08% blood alcohol content limit for DUI.

Well, ain't that some Mississippi shite.

I was responding when NOLAguy said it was a New Orleans thing. It's an everywhere thing to get a beer and drink it on the ride home

Mississippi is the only State in the Union where the driver of a motor vehicle on a public road can legally consume alcohol.

It's amongst the myriad of ways Number Fifty stays Number Fifty.

In Little Rock, Sante Fe and Charleston every year they say it when the new state rankings come out:

Thank God for Mississippi!

Dolph Lundgren has a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to MIT... but he quit to pursue acting.

And it actually worked out for him.

there is a law against drinking and driving. You can still go in and buy one. Now she is just inconveniencing people by making them park and go inside.

YUP....... And the law is there just not as enforced as it could be....if you are careful and don't break any traffic laws its hard to get caught.......Barring an accident of course.......... But its amazing that reading the dui's in the morning paper how many people are caught with an open container.

It just befuddles me."
