oh ok. i dont watch the news, or keep up with it for the most part. Especially if it is racially or politically motivated. Either way, by reading this story it ia pretty terrible for these children. And looks like others had alerted authorities before, someone dropped the ball

Damn, that's heartbreaking.

Drove off the cliff like Thelma and Louise?
Quite odd.
So they brought the kids to the protests and hit the jackpot with that photo ? Sounds like two attention SJWs that managed to kill 6 innocent kids

To the extent "liberals" are gays, yes.
But "Evangelical" Christians and Mormons are huge adopters.

As a "liberal" (by TD standards) I have adopted a child and am also supportive of a woman's right to choose. I would like to see far fewer unwanted pregnancies but also more options for adoption for children born to mothers/parents unable to care for them. I din't see any conflict in those positions.

Looks like a dozen people have tried to post this story on various subreddits, but the posts have been taken down or locked.

I found a couple clues:

Certainly possible, but not really that likely. There was apparently no sign of braking. So their brakes would have had to go completely out at an absolutely perfect time. Given we have a woman driver, so who knows.

Doesn't sound like it.

Who cares? Random people die all the time. Why do I need to care about this random person?

The photo was at the very height of the shite show that was the Michael Brown/BLM/Policehate protest.
This picture was extremely circulated for about 2 weeks.
I have never seen it until today.

I found it somewhat surprising that in of all states, California, that there were so few guard rails, etc. nearby huge dropoffs.
I recall the PCH and roads to Tahoe and Yosemite having massive dropoffs, like the one this car went off, and being little to no protection. You'd figure California would have a state mandated huge barriers for even a simple hill.

well it's en vogue for liberals to adopt minority children
which is probably good overall, regardless of whether the motivation is shallow
Unfortunately, it appears these "parents" adopted a bunch of kids, used them as props for political advocacy (which the kids probably enjoyed, admittedly), but lost interest when the whole "you have to feed them" thing came around
Then they drove them over a cliff for reasons yet to be determined

in other news, some other people no one cares about were killed by some people no one cares about.
no one cared.
no one cared.

I wonder if an argument was happening and the driver was distracted

So...we have a fatal car accident here?
Is this supposed to be more newsworthy because this kid had a widely circulated picture with a cop?
