By the time people get to us they are DEFINITELY dead, I can't even imagine the incompetence involved here by the medical personnel for a living person to arrive at a funeral home.

Thats what I was going to say. please never bring me to that hospital.

How in the hell isnt a 20 year old “dying” not a mandatory autopsy? Obviously if they conducted CPR she wasn’t on hospice or anything terminal. Don’t make a whole lot of sense to me. Looks like Biden has an extra vote.

Since when can paramedics rule on a death? I thought a doctor had to officially do it.

From the article, it appears the paramedics "determined" she was dead, though it probably wasn't "official", then the Oakland County Medical Examiner’s Office was contacted and given the medical data about the woman and they declared her dead.

quote:

“The paramedics performed CPR and other life-reviving methods for 30 minutes,” he said. “Given medical readings and the condition of the patient, it was determined at that time that she did not have signs of life.”

Menifee said that because there was no indication of foul play, the Oakland County Medical Examiner’s Office was contacted and given the medical data about the woman.

“The patient was again determined to have expired and the body was released directly to the family to make arrangements with a funeral home of their choosing,” he said.

If they would have they would have killed her. I wonder how many people have been killed by an autopsy, if the quote above is true.
