I fricking hate her and want bad things to happen to her.
I heard early on in this that she had a friend die from the virus. I’m almost wondering if she is having mental issues. Not that she had much of a functioning brain to begin with

She has to have some sort of mental/control/power illness.

No one is this fricking stupid. I feel sorry for the people that surround her and depend on that job because I’m sure they are just as ignorant and are stuck because they can’t find jobs anywhere else.

I’d like to know how many people have quit that answered to her.

The OT: If it wasn’t for Mardi Gras our state wouldn’t have a number of cases that is completely disproportionate to our population.

Also the OT: How dare they cancel Jazz Fest!!!

Not sure whats your point. Of course Mardi Gras was a catalyst for the spread and spike in New Orleans and now Jefferson Parish has caught up with Orleans so mix that with the demographics that are affected the most, yeah it makes sense.

Most intelligent people already knew Jazz Fest wasn’t happening. That was pretty clear a month ago.

be fair...Jazz Fest was never going to happen...

The Fairgrounds wasnt going to let that happen in October right before race season... and with Buku being moved to Labor Day weekend along with Decandance Fest and FQF being Oct 1st and Voodoo in City Park at the end of October....there was no time or location for JF to set up and tear down

To be fair they had already selected dates and were discussing how to unroll marketing etc... effectively.

The message she sent in her press conference was NOLA is closed for 2020. NOLA peaked before other areas and its her job to make sure no one gets sick. She is just going watch the city bleed out until next year.

I can’t wait to see what bullshite she has to say about Mardi Gras.

You got a link to that?

If you’re correct on those dates that’s 3 weeks prior for set up, then 2 weeks of the fest, then 2/3 weeks post fest for tear down.

Tell me how that would have worked.
