I was there for every game in tiger stadium in 05.

The Saints were terrible that year so it just wasn't a good atmosphere. I went to watch us lose to Nick Saban and the Dolphins.

This is shot across the bow of the Destroya to force her hand on allowing fans or at least explain why she won't allow them.

I think it is an attempt, but I don't think it sways her. She isn't out any money if the Saints play in BR.

I thought you were joking.

This bitch is so fricking dumb.

I wouldn't say that, If the deal is signed it's probably gonna be a multi-game deal. The city and local business stand to lose a large amount of money if the dome was to open. I doubt the Saints are just gonna tell LSU we are gonna play tba.

I can 100 percent promise you that this conversation doesn't happen unless it already has the blessing of the NFL and of the governor, as well as Sean.

It's clear this Saints team needs to play in front of fans, and last night should have been a great atmosphere.

Different set of fans

The key word is fans. So if you were running the saints organization you would rather play in the dome with no fans and receiving no revenue or play in TS with fans and receiving some revenue. I was also at those games when they played in TS. While I agree with you that it is a very different atmosphere in TS but ANYTHING is better than no atmosphere

Yep, I went to the dolphins game and the bucs game that year in BR. Saints were fricking awful. I remember everyone making paper airplanes out of the game pamphlet to throw at Saban for the Phins game and Brooks throwing 4 ints vs Tampa.

Can’t forget this gem either from Latoya LINK

@FletcherWDSU RAW VIDEO: @CityOfNOLA @mayorcantrell says her decision to hold off on allowing some #Saints fans to attend games in the @MBSuperdome starting on September 27th for matchup vs. Green Bay Packers is due to COVID-19 Cares Act funding from the state of Louisiana, not health.

Saints telling her and Avegno to suck a fat one

Wouldn’t that fall under Quid Pro Quo and be a jailable offense?

At least an impeachable offense? At least according to Democrats?

Situations like this is why Scruffy wants Trump to win.

These dumbasses don’t deserve to have the federal government bail them out.

Who's going to impeach her? The council with a drunk and the guy under federal investigation who is leading the DA race?

Politicians have no liability for the economic damage they have inflicted, therefore they have no incentive to minimize the disruptions they have caused.

Would be funny if it weren't so dangerously and delusionally devastating to NOLA.

Williams is actually using the defense "It ain't my fault" on his taxes. That's exactly the type of DA you want, right?

Don’t get me wrong, I get it.
But the saints aren’t going to draw much of a crowd to tiger stadium.
It’ll feel like an exhibition game.
