hammond at chappapeela park
three precincts vote there and evidently 95% of voters are in one of them...so of course, they have one table for each, with one very nice but very old lady taking names.
so...theres two empty tables with four empty voting booths each, and then a line 90 minutes long at the third. i got there at 6:45AM and at 8AM was nowhere near the damn table, so i left and will go back later

I voted in a church gym. They had maybe 5-6 tables with six seats at each one for voting. I got there when voting started and it took 40 minutes because my last name starts with a popular letter. A-D people were in and out within minutes.

We vote in a fire station. Walk into the room on one end there's 3 machines for our precinct, on the other end there's 3 machines for another precinct.

Mine is a small elementary and I have never had to wait until today. Lots of MAGA voters voting for the first time.

(I vote in a JPRD Playground gym about four blocks from my house. Three precincts vote here.
It took about fifteen minutes including the walk both ways. )
I used to vote at Miley too.
Now I vote at a small non denominational church and had one person in front of me before 7 am.

My brother has to drive 12 miles when there's a precinct right down the street. Gerrymandering, yo.

Its a fricking library on side of a park and there isn't much activity going on. Inside is a room thats maybe 15X20 with blue carpet, some desk with old women sitting at them and some voting booths.

I never understood why they don't put these polling locations in bigger areas

Very similar....no, identical to the OP's polling place! I go into a different booth though. LOL

Mine has a Malcolm X quote directly above the voting booth I was in.
Took about 5 minutes only because there was an elderly lady being assisted by the first responders. Guess she had some sort of spell. Hope she is doing ok.

School auditorium. 3 machines. Took 5 minutes only because I couldn't find who I wanted to vote for for Senate since there were about 50 choices. If not for that I would have been done in under 3.

I vote at the volunteer fire station located a couple of miles from my house. We used to vote in the bay where the fire truck is parked but they've added a new building and now have the machines set up in it.
I've been voting at this location for 12 years and today was the busiest I've ever seen it.

Voted a few blocks from downtown Houston. At 7:45 this morning, about half of the 12 machines were open. Walked right up and was out within 6 minutes.

I absentee voted like all other smart people should do.

I'll be walking in my precinct in 2 minutes. Probably won't take more than 5 minutes.
