It's interesting that in spite of his low IQ, he was smart enough to get away with multiple murders for quite some time and probably some we don't know about. His IQ was high enough to stalk and plan and execute.

I hope his death allows the families to cross a line to another side in their grieving process. I don't believe in "closure", but I hope the fact that they no longer have to follow his appeals and hope for his execution frees them in some way.

This. The guy was smarter than the idiots that examined him and claimed his IQ was too low.

I had forgotten about him (it's actually Ronald Dominique) until I ran across the Bayou Blue documentary about him the other day.

i remember George Sells and Donna Britt on WAFB described the perp as 'disarmingly handsome.'

then when it was found that DTL did it, everyone said WTF?

No joke. If he had had a desire to kill innocent dogs rather than innocent women, he would have been a prime candidate for the BRPD.

I think he killed more people then we even realize personally.

For sure.

I'd guess up around 25-30 people.

Stalking, planning and executing supports that he may be more than a retard.

Getting away with murder wouldn't be too hard, even for a retard, if investigators are biased, stereotyping dumbfricks like BRPD.

His IQ score was accurate, but IQ scores don't tell you everything about someone.
