This thread should not be either anchored or whacked. We have the opportunity to urge people to do the right thing here, which is -

Let the criminal justice system work. The accused in this case probably has some unresolved mental issues. Let's be merciful and resist the urge to make fun of her or shun her for the rest of her life. Sure, we can make some jokes here on OT, but, anybody who knows this group of people should IMHO work to allow for healing and moving the community forward. Again, this accused very probably has some mental issues that need to be addressed. Her professional career is over. No need to bury her in the ground, too.

Second, treat the accused's family with compassion and mercy. Help them get back to "normal mode" of life. They are completely innocent. Give them a break. If you hear a neighbor gossiping, fine - just remind that gossip person of the ideas I suggest in this post i.e let the criminal justice process work and help the family and victims return to normal community life.

Be selfless and decline to gain some joy out of this misfortune infliced on others.

I genuinely do not gaf about adults who choose to have sex with minors or their mental health. I only care about the minors who were taken advantage of and their mental health. My sympathy and support are reserved for the victims.

I’ll word it a different way for you. Ron Robert’s is Misty Clanton’s biological grandfather.

That is a big red flag pointing to some familial or friend of the family abuse in both their lives. This might explain their predilections but it doesn't excuse acting on them.

I am still baffled by people that have been abused in various ways continue the family tradition. Having never been in that situation I always think the victims of abuse would be the last people to turn around and commit the same atrocities.
