I think they throw the book at him and convict him of murder. When they wouldn’t move the trial out of Minneapolis it was clear the outcome was rigged

The conviction would be tossed so quick on appeal it will be nice to see.
Once all the hate and riots die down, the appellate court will for sure overturn any conviction(s)

*at the least grant a new trail as the one now was not close to a fair one. Any non-biased judge can see that

Us vs Them, baw. If you did that, you'd be sitting in jail with no bond right now.

Only way I see black people being happy once the verdict is announced is if Chauvin is shot in the courtroom and a black person shits on his dead body. Then they will riot and loot stores in celebration.

The good thing is the verdict comes near the end of the workday so people can riot/party after they get off work.

I'll be at the PGA Superstore very politely not paying for things I take home. Rioting and vandalism is trashy.

I'm in need of a new phone, guessing Best Buy will be the best choice for my looting.

Wrong. If they had only charged with 1st degree murder (or 2nd or 3rd) and he was acquitted, they couldn’t try him later for manslaughter for the same crime either

I confused charge with offense.

I'm streaming on Twitter and no one has come out yet...The poli board is full of it, huh?

the prosecution of a person twice for the same offense.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd are three different offenses, no?

In Louisiana, You can't indict someone for First degree murder, second degree murder, and manslaughter for the killing of a single person or, in your words, the same offense.

You have to pick one to bring to the jury. Now if you bring first degree, the jury could always find they're not guilty of first degree but guilty of a responsive verdict such as second degree or manslaughter. But you can't bring all three to the jury for the same offense (and there's no point if you're at least bringing first degree)
