hes showing that the defense is simply obfuscating facts by citing studies that did not account for similar circumstances such as the additional restraints and for extended duration. they also left out portions of those studies that acknowledge the danger when those additional restraints are applied.

Are you kidding?

The prosecution thinks their pulmonologist can determine Floyd’s EELV from a cellphone video. Do you know how an End Expiratory Lung Volume is calculated?

Do you really want to get body bagged again on another scientific topic?

In addition their is no literature or basic anatomy that supports the theory of hypopharynx obstruction.

The only person obfuscating the facts is this prosecutor and the pulmonologist.

Keep in mind 50 FBI agents handled the investigation. The full weight of the FBI was used to try and convict Chauvin.

14 of the brightest activist legal minds were brought together to handle the prosecution.

On the defense there is just Nelson and his assistant that only passed the bar a few months ago.

And here we are.

I haven't watched a trial like this since the OJ one, don't really remember much about it. However, watching this it is easy to see how each side is trying to make their points and they are both effective at times. Given the burden of proof for a true guilty verdict with out a reasonable doubt - just the varying opinions of the pathologist, the physical restraints guys, etc....that alone makes it not possible to convict without "feelings"

The sad part is that zealots for either side don't care about the evidence, just their side winning. Nothing said in the court room will change their opinion of what the outcome should be.

How does excluding Maurice Hall’s testimony affect the outcome going forward, if at all?

I wasn't going to respond but you're such a f*cking idiot. You have totally ignored the fact that your " knee on neck killed him" was blown up the 1st week.

Advice: Before you hit submit re-read your post and ask yourself does this leave me open for something I stated in the past.

Also before unhinging your jaws keep in mind we know what you have said and what stances you have made so making " goal post moving posts" makes you look stupid.

The State's experts said that there wasn't a single level of street-level meth that was safe.

testified GF did not exhibit fatal fentanyl overdose symptoms.

In a sequence of yes/no questions and then said that fentanyl depresses the respiratory rate and that in a normal person someone with low oxygen increases their breathing rate above what was counted by the pulmonologist.

that still isnt fatal overdose symptomology that would be respirations below normal, which is not the reality of this case.

ETA - also no experts believed GF died of a fatal OD.

I was listening to court tv during the jury's lunch break and a black lady judge said its ridiculous the defense is not objecting for a mistrial or pause/postponement in regards to what is happening in the city and that the juror's have to drive though it everyday to get to court. She said the jurors have to be affected by that and it's not fair to them or the defense.

The defense doesn't have to prove this but they also haven't said that drugs played no part. The State has to prove Chauvin killed him. I still don't think that has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt even though I came into the trial thinking Chauvin was guilty of something.

You have spent a lot of time, prior the ME testifying, talking about the coroner's report but you, nor the State, have talked about that much since he testified. I wonder why that is.

I had never heard that term before and it is very interesting. This trial has actually taught me quite a few things.

The prosecution is slowly getting stabbed to death

I'm sure they wish they were burkined instead

Yeah, Burke and hare would lie on top of old people and kill them then sell their bodies to medical schools. These bodies were much more highly prized than the decomposing ones they dug up.
