The riots of 2020 were a culmination of covid restrictions and pent up rage. People are bored now and settled in. If Chauvin walks, I will be able to count on my 2 hands the number of stores that would be targeted.

You don’t understand. They are already rioting and haven’t had a full weekend to mobilize all of the out of state agitators. They will riot regardless of out come. They can’t help it. It’s in their nature.

Trying to remain as objective as I can, the trial was over when the state rested. They failed to prove any of the charges in my opinion.

But the “expert” panel on HLN has a 180 view from me. But it is very obvious they have no objectivity.

I haven’t been following every minute of the trial but the bits and pieces I’d say 60% guilty.

I think the jury will be stuck on the prosecution’s cardiologist’s testimony and his acting. He was extremely cringeworthy but very effective in illustrating how Chauvin allegedly cut off Floyd’s breath.

If you rewatch him enter the courtroom he gives a smile to attorney and then a long smile to jury. Almost like a “good to see you all again” smile.

I would say the % changes depending on the charge.

The murder charge is pretty much a no go just from Nelsons cross examinations the last 2 weeks.
The lower charges are about 50/50 at this point.

12 days into the trial and here we are with people just joining in on the conversation that are totally lost.

60% guilty? Well that means hung jury/mistrial. It must be 100% to convict.

No riots? Are you people retarded?

Someone asked our opinions I gave it. I wouldn’t necessarily agree with that outcome but that’s how I see it from what I’ve seen so far.

Then you haven’t seen anything

There is a shite load of reasonable doubt in this case. I can’t see all 12 agreeing to convict

How so?

Just for an example, Brodd, the lead off hitter for the defense, in all likelihood perjured himself. Oh yeah, and there was that old, “resting comfortably” thing

So, without speaking in generalities like “ are you watching the same trail”, and “you are way off”, go ahead and explain how the defense did well today

I purely want to see Chauvin go free to see the riots again and this time hopefully all of the rioters get shot.

I think dropping napalm on them would be more cost effective.

The prosecution is saying Chauvin should have stopped with the restraint after Floyd was handcuffed but the witness testified that Floyd was still resisting even after being restrained therefore showing Chauvin followed procedure. This may have not caught your eye but this was good testimony for Chauvin.

Was today a huge win for the defense No but there were wins and combined those with the last 2 weeks and Chauvin is doing pretty decent.

To say the defense was eviscerated today, like you did, is absolutely wrong and frankly I think you got it from the talking head on Court Tv who said the word "eviscerated" a few minutes b4 u posted it.

I must have missed that was it as bad at the Mma fighter the prosecution had on the 1st week that testified under oath he was not angry and then on redirect from the prosecution he said he was angry.

I just had the opportunity to watch Brodd’s full testimony.

The panelists are very much mischaracterizing his testimony claiming it was a “disaster”. Their bias is on full display.

Yeah that dude was awful. But he gets a pass because everytime Nelson asked if he called Chauvin a cuss word he looked over to Chauvin and said “I did” after each word. That was pretty dang baller.

Also to the other guy, I don’t have Court TV. I stream this on CSPAN.
