In any accusation? Even if he’s proven not guilty? WTF are you saying? Maybe I’m missing the context. Have you followed this case ?

He could have also been right underneath the tailpipe of the vehicle, which also can release Co2, which could have been inhaled in his position.
God damn you're one stupid frick.

I have not seen the reports, or read any of the contents of his stomach, from the autopsy.

Yes, it's called innocent until proven guilty.

Wait, you're a fricking attorney and you typed out that first line?

The correct lawful decision needs to be made. If Chauvin is convicted just to prevent rioters and to appease the SJW types, then that gives them a lot of power going forward. Where does it stop? What will they threaten rioting over next? It's why you can never threaten to quit a job if you don't get a pay raise, because then it sets a lose-lose precedence.

Baker will testify tomorrow. There will be medical experts (tox maybe?) today.

Was listening to HLN on the drive into the office and they were saying Dr. Baker is expected today.

None of this testimony proves Chauvin killed Floyd by asphyxiating him. Drug overdoses can do the same thing.

I mean.. he just testified that what Chauvin did contributed to his death.
Will be interesting to hear what defense says. Defense didn't object so they must have something to say.

Moments after I posted. Which is good for the prosecution.

Thanks again to those who post updates during the day for those of us who can't watch.

yea the illustration they built is going to have to be challenged by the defense. I imagine the defense will have to bring up the position on the shoulder and not the neck.

Maybe but it's the first good witness for the prosecution so far. Nelson has been amazing on cross with everyone else so far so I expect him to do well on his cross here too but we'll see.

He said he volunteered to do this and declined payment because it's the first time he has ever testified in a criminal case.

He is looking at it all from a completely medical perspective. The context of the use of force being applied and necessary is missing. Nelson is going to have to provide the context.

I would not say he's pushing lies, i'd say hes testifying how HE SEES what happens. He wasn't there, hes going off what all of us saw.
Defense will need to really step up and make him look like a fool though.
