Have you followed this case ?
He's already admitted he hasn't watched any of the live coverage and is only getting his information from the evening news. Which, ya know, is totally balanced and not biased in the least.
And he's a lawyer claiming to want "justice"

Cross should be interesting.
This guy should be able to explain why GF couldn't breathe while sitting in the police car.

I would not say he's pushing lies, i'd say hes testifying how HE SEES what happens. He wasn't there, hes going off what all of us saw.
Then he needs to take into consideration the amount of drugs in GF system that contributed to his shortness of breath that led to him ODing and dying.

Exactly!

Reports are coming out that Nelson didn't eat breakfast this morning but that he plans on eating this hack alive on cross

The defense should have objected to that. Hopefully the defense questions that statement.

I like how this expert hasn't mentioned or considered drug use in his respiratory analysis. He points to every factor under the sun BUT drug use

One of the first things clarified is that this guy is not being paid for this.
In this particular instance, he is not a whore, like Dr. Michael Baden. He has testified in over 50 cases but they did not establish if he was paid for those, or if he was helpful to those who paid him.

He will have to once the defense gets up there

who is testifying right now?

So now he is an expert in force, leverage, weights of specific body parts, and the physics of weights changing as shifts occur. I did not hear him explain how knee on the back crushes the windpipe, or leaves no microscopic signs of damage.

I think this is the Prosecutor's home run testimony (in there eyes).
This is all they "got", but lets see what defense does. Everything he is saying is speculation.

World class pulmonologist, from outside of Dublin. He knows his respiratory shite, but is also glad to venture outside of his specialty, if it helps the prosecution.

That's BS about 92.5 lbs being on his neck. He can't know how much weight Chauvin has on his other side.

Defense will need to really step up and make him look like a fool though.
Should be interesting as Nelson has been near flawless in his cross-examinations.
Wouldn't surprise me if made the god of Pulmonology sound like the Safeway clerk.

Agreed and plays well to the jury. Nelson is going to have a lot to attack but will also have to be very careful as this is certainly the most intelligent witness the State has brought to testify.

Has it been asked who is paying for Chauvin defense? Shouldn't the union be fronting the cost?
