I’m seeing a 3 pronged defense here
1. DC was trained to use this type of restraint
2. DC felt threatened by the crowd and therefore couldn’t de-escalate his restraint because he thought he could be attacked if another struggle ensued. He also wasn’t able to fully evaluate GF because he had to pay attention to the crowd
3. GF use of meth and fentanyl contributed to his death
I would also like to see them hammer the idea that GF was saying he couldn’t breath before he was on the ground, and he asked to be put on the ground.

I doubt they would try it again in Minneapolis. Probably would move for a change of venue. Not 100 percent sure you can do that on a mistrial. Either way that won't stop the looting and destruction... withdrawn, the protests in support of criminal justice reform.

I don’t really think we’ll see a repeat of the looting and destruction we saw last time, even if he’s found not guilty. I think the black community got it out of their system so to speak and the shock value from seeing the video for the first time isn’t there either.
