First day of deliberations ??
I'd put my money on that day if we were running a office pool.
Maybe the day of closing arguments so the jurors can see them on the way in that morning.

well, assuming they don't get to the alternates I know four votes already, does it have to be unanimous?

Yes, either way...

It will be a mistrial by hung jury.

How many times can you re-trial a guy? Is there a limit?

Good question. I don’t know
But once this thread is over, If they retry DC, they may have to move to a different state bc they gonna burn that Courthouse down

If a mistrial is declared, as many times as the prosecution wants to go to trial. I think generally, they give up after two. I’m sure there are outliers to that though.

Until all of the Foot Lockers are empty.

or Biden could pull a 41 and demand that DC be found guilty

people in this thread were describing all the potential jurors during jury deliberations
I believe 1 of the jurors is a bawette based on the descriptions given in the thread
that may be a not guilty right there

Unlike most juries this one actually has some intelligent people. One is a chemist, another a nurse.. I think most or all of them have real jobs. They wanted to be on this jury, unlike most times when people do anything to not be on the jury.
I think reasonable doubt is VERY possible. Maybe not all but probably half.

So I get the headphones so they can hear but how is the objector talking so that the jury can’t hear??
I’m not explaining very well ..
Covid Court 2021. Lawyers stay at their home base and communicate objections to bench via headphones because they can’t approach the bench due to social distancing. Clown world, just like this trial is proving to be.
