Supposedly Bryan Fontenot was planning to run against him but he had a poll done and the results didn't turn out in his favor so he he's not running now.
I also heard right before last election that Weber was running 1 last time and was going to retire 3 years in and name Roy as interim sheriff. That way Roy's name would be in the public eye and he could have won the election when the replacement was voted on.

I park my arse in handicapped stalls in public bathrooms. They’re roomy and the grab bars help with power squeezing.

That’s definitely a Dick move by the Deputy to have done that. It certainly justifies a day or two off without pay. However, calling for his career to be ended as a result seems to be a bit much wouldn’t you think.
That said, anybody that parked in a handicap space that isn’t legitimately handicapped is a POS. These handicapped people face struggles in life that we can’t begin to understand.

Thats what I heard too. Last time he ran against the Nicholls cop was supposed to be the last time

I actually hear this about him quite often. Which is no big deal. I don’t like him because I believe him owning blow machines that go into cars is a conflict of interest. Not a big fan of Cam Morvant and that’s his best bud.

As far as I know he's supposed to, he approached myself and a friend about helping him iut in our town but haven't heard snything more.
He was supposed to announce middle of June so maybe as a previous poster said , he did some polling and didn't like the results.
I don't have an issue with Webre. In fact he took care of my family very well when we had some medical issues while my mom was employed there.
I do believe though, he's been in office so long, and a new face with new ideas wouldn't be a bad idea.
He's been in office since I'm 4 years old and I'm 38.

Looks just like another corrupt good ole boy who is simply protecting his image.
There was nothing to gain by issuing an actual ticket. A ticket would have wasted multiple people's time as well as wasted court time. If he "lost" the same amount as the ticket would cost, it is technically equal.
The ticket, being a non-moving violation, would not affect insurance, FWIW.
