Did she go to Reggie's alone or with a group of friends?

How do the boy’s phones come into play? Must they be turned over as possible evidence in the crime and can the police review all photos/texts regardless of date/time?

The phones are evidence. Their accounts, text messages, emails can and will be seen by investigators.

Yes, they can go back through and look at everything as there may be evidence useful for prosecution.

If they happen to find evidence of other crimes? They have a warrant to be there so anything else uncovered = new crimes.

Like if they had a warrant to get in the house over a drug charge, but find a cache of illegal guns = new charges.

Any drugs found in the car or the houses they search = new charges.

For the phones, you don't really 'delete' things off a phone. Unless you drop the thing in a vat of acid, destroy the chip it can be 'cracked.' Even then, there's still iCloud, etc.

If you have a smartphone, you're basically walking around with a spy device on your person. Your location, photos, video, apps that use it all create a big stack of data.

They'll also look at social media accounts.

"Yo, you see that girl from last night got run over?"

"Man I told you she was too drunk" etc.

People slip up and text or message stuff like that all the time. Over half of divorce cases now use social media as part of the prosecution.

Unless video inside the car can be recovered. Then go for broke.

people on this thread seem to be implying that as long as they tried to bring her home, there wasn't a rape.
No one has implied this. It was rape based solely on their statements in the affidavit. I don’t see any way around that. We can still try to get an accurate picture of how the night went from start to finish. And yes, that could mean going with what a reporter shares about what he’s seen.

Her posts were pages back. People responding to them and making others go back and look for them is worse. Fred already gave her a final warning

Gotcha. I'm seeing most of them for the first time now. I'll back off.

Because you have used plausible deniability, ad nauseum.

You really do have a problem

Thought you might have turned a corner when way back in the thread you realized it. Didn't last long at all.

I haven’t once said anything negative about the victim

I just find it fascinating watching you and pure blood and others attack ell, who isn’t being disrespectful, while in other threads they will completely make fun of a dead person etc etc or even directly make fun of posters for being handicapped etc

It’s just absoutely fascinating to watch such hypocrisy play out

Sadly that’s the internet. Murder in another state posted on here and it’s “play stupid games, win stupid…fk around and find..etc”

But when someone who knows someone who got murdered then it’s personal and people take offense.

I've talked about the actual subject of this thread for 99%. You just show up to defend morons like Angel and take pot shots that totally derail the thread

Eh I get it. TD is much bigger than people realize. There are people very close to this who have been and continue to read this thread. So in many ways it is personal so people can’t do what Angel did in the way she did it and expect to be glossed over. I’m guilty of it too… within the last page or so.

After reading the last few pages, it seems like this board is getting closer and closer to being willingly to really have an honest conversation about the driver of the uber car and investigate the details of the accident now.

Except for the part about hitting a human standing in the middle of a road.

It was the middle of the night in a low-lit area. What facts are you relying on that he has any fault? He has to exercise due care not to hit an incapacitated person, but everything suggests that’s exactly what happened.

The Uber driver —

—will be a witness to her condition in the last moment

—has not been charged criminally

—may very well get sued civilly for damages.

Like Forrest Gump, that’s all I have to say about that.

Mandatory investigation in vehicle death cases. It’s been done.
