Like I asked, how do you know for sure what was said inside the car outside of publicly available information?
The only way for you to know this is to have access to someone who has spoken to the defendants since the incident.

Teenagers talk? I said that is what I heard. Even one of the attys alluded to something like that.
I don’t know anyone. I think she was raped & her life tragically cut short. Everyone here is speculating and I just repeated what I heard. I made that clear so it’s obvious no one knows bc we weren’t there.
Time will tell.
ETA… These same teenagers said she wasn’t targeted and was the one pursuing the 17 yo. Again, that doesn’t mean people are defending what transpired afterwards.

My initial perception of this was that he asked and she didn't respond because she was incoherent... so he asked again, still no response... and then again... and again... and again... and then finally she murmured a response and he was like, "Yall heard her - she said yes"

Be interesting to know when the blood result was taken. Assuming before the organs were donated or around same time. Blood of a deceased person can ferment causing inaccurate BAC results. Any seasoned DWI defense attorney will be able to question the reliability of the BAC results taken from a deceased person and sow enough doubt in the jury as to the reliability of the results. The alleged victim is not here to testify. Prosecutor will need irrefutable video or audio evidence to prove their case.
