Not even close to true.
They were heading the exact opposite direction.

Hung jury on first trial. Conviction of second degree murder on retrial. He did not get off.
Should have never been the need for a 2nd trial.

Pretty sure he said sorority sister's house. But maybe I'm wrong.
That's what he said, I'll edit.

Has an after video been released?

3) I think some black people are sensitive to charges of a black man raping a white woman based on historical injustice during the time of lynchings. Like it or not, history has examples of black men being hung for looking at a white women wrong, or when she cried rape when an interracial relationship was discovered.
I wonder what the dynamic was between the white kid and the girl… if it was consensual, was he jealous that he was left out of the action?

After seeing the video of her trotting and walking and knowing the fact that her BAC was tested later at .319 and it takes about 10 min. for alcohol to start fully affecting you body, common sense tells you she must have drank heavily in the bar a short period of time just before trotting out there to the truck and or after they got to the truck or sometime after that.

Mostly based on media accounts. Few were alive, this excuse is overrated as hell.
The media racism narrative is the actual reason, and most of it is false.

Why is my 17 year old high school student drunk in a bar?
In the 80's, when I first got to LSU, I hadn’t turned 18 yet. School hadn't started yet. My birthday is in December. So, as a 17 year old, I went to the Bengal with a bunch of friends on the first day we were in Baton Rouge. I had a good amount to drink. I wound up dancing with a really hot girl who I figured was about 20 or 21.
At some point she grabbed my hand, took me out to her car, and we made out for about a half an hour. She then asked me if I wanted to go home with her. My first thought was that LSU is the greatest place on the f*cking planet. I then told her, “sure.“
She then told me that she would take me back to her house, but that I had to be very quiet as she lived in the back of her parents house. I was good with that. She then told me that I had to be careful as they had toys all over her room. Of course, I asked her why her why were there toys all over her room. She said they belong to her two kids.
At this point, I pulled away, and I asked incredulously, “You have two kids? You don't seem old enough to have two kids." She told me she was 29 and whipped out her drivers license to prove it.
I won’t say exactly what happened after that. But, let's say she was also quite inebriated (she was about as drunk as I was) and I went back to her house and slept with her?
Would I have been guilty of rape under the laws as they exist now? Do you believe that the fact that she was 29 and I was 17 should make any difference?
And, just for the record, this did happen to me. I would take a polygraph on it.

I think they are saying there is video of her getting out of the car and looking just fine.
With the Video leaving Reggie's...were those Tight Leather pants? That's seem like a hassle to take off in the back of a car, really any pants..at any rate, I'd like to see her pants the way they were leaving the car....If you can tell anything much from that. The atty needs to come out and say she dressed herself back after..if it was all on the up and up

The Anti-Dram law would certainly apply here. The injury starts on Jennifer Jean and then ends an hour later off Burbank. But I wonder if you could prove that she was served alcohol and with her not being of legal age that then the bar is open to liability given the mitigating factor that she had worked there and was familiar to the employees.
If they paid her one dime , they had to fill out forms. Hell, they admitted that she had worked there so JL and Darren knew....this law probably also contributes to our overall shitty insurance rates just a little

yep.
there are very simple detailed facts of this story that 100% add up to a girl that was heavily intoxicated and was legally raped and taken advantage of. Why are they even asking for her to consent in front of 3 other guys? That's not fricking normal. I've never had to ask a girl that question the two times i had sex. That exactly shows that they were taking full on advantage of a girl drunk as frick.

narrative is the actual reason
Almost all human beings act on narrative, including most posters here. Narrative is truth when it comes to individual people. That is one reason you have a jury of twelve instead of a jury of one.

Well. She drove you to her house, so she wasn't in a "stupor." Whey would this be rape?
